The metal sheets also play the role of a privacy screen or fencing panel for the enclosed sites or facilities. Hence the panels are designed to be sound proof and wind resisting. Sound absorption: EN 1793-1,DLα = 12 dB (A4) EN 16272-1. DLα = 13 dB; Sound insulation: EN 1793-2, DLR = 25 dB (B3) EN 16272-2 (7) , DLR = 30 dB ISO 717-1. The materials are fire retardant metals or fibers. Noise control panels are often used with W beam guardrails and metal fences to form a complete fencing system for the highways.
